The use of “I AM” statements are not new. In fact, one of my favorite gurus and legendary teachers of all time, Dr. Wayne W. Dyer talks frequently about using the power of the phrase ‘I AM’.
I feel this is so powerful to share because not many people know about the power of the I AM or make use of their commanding power. When you use I AM statements, you are affirming anything you put into that I AM statement and asking the universe to bring that into your existence.
Therefore, the I AM statements are particularly powerful to be used as affirmations and for accessing your own personal power.
Too many people restrict themselves and their thinking by looking at the lack, by looking at all the things they are not. Then they generate more “not”s. Instead, generate more “I AM”s by utilizing the power of this statement.
So by using these statements as affirmations they can bring what your claiming as yours into your present experience. Also, the more you use these statements the more you have access to the immediacy of the universe.
I AM helps you grasp who you are now and who you want to be into the present. The fastest way to become what it is that you want is to step into it.
Some people call this “acting as if”, others call it “experiencing it now”, and others use the I AM statements or affirmations.
There are many different ways to establish your I AM, to step into your power, and to enable the process of becoming.
All that you want to be, do, and have is already within you. The process is just about getting yourself on the same frequency as the energy that you want to attract into your life.
The I AM helps you to grasp this emotional frequency and feel it.
Try this short exercise and access your “I AM” –
1. Make a statement or set of I AM statements (Ask)
Step into the power of the I AM by declaring what you want. Don’t use “I want”, or you will be left wanting. Declare what you expect to be, do or have. Also in your statements use the present tense. “I AM…”
2. Engage in the emotional frequency of those statements. (Believe)
Believe that you have already achieved or received what you want. Get excited. Feel it in your body and soul. What does it feel like?
Is it time for a dance party? Want to scream out your happiness at the top of your lungs? What does this joy feel like? What does it feel like to have everything you have ever wanted? Experience these emotions now.
3. Be Happy right now and let go of the attachment to the outcome (Receive)
This means go on with your life and don’t wait for it to show up. Just have a loose expectation.
If you are waiting for your order like you would wait for water to boil, you’ll be waiting for a while. See, it is when you give up that your desires appear.
There are many different teachers who show you how to do this. There are many different practices that all follow the same methodology and principles of manifestation. The language or lingo might be different, but the same three steps exist.
What manifestation exercises work for you? How did this exercise measure up and explain manifestation. Leave some comments below.
