Women tend to sell themselves short. Maybe this messaging comes from society, or maybe it comes from how we were raised. In the last century women have grown and taken more initiative on women’s rights such as the right to vote and equal pay, among others.
Clearly, there has been a shift.
But still women are afraid to stand up for what they want. There is fear about asking for what they truly want, and fear of what others will think when we stand in our power. Sometimes this stems from confidence, a fear of looking powerful, or being called (shudder) a “bitch”. Words truly wound and women tend to stay in their box and play small instead of capturing the power from within because of how they will be perceived by others.
The truth it is about the fear of being different, and the fear of rocking the boat, the fear that others won’t like us. As women, we are afraid of getting knocked down. We are afraid of what people will think of us. We are afraid of the negative social capital, so much that it outweighs the positive. Also, there are women who have trouble meeting the right person because they have so much fear, self-doubt, and compare themselves with other women feeling that they don’t measure up. Others don’t believe there is a “right one” out there and so don’t even try to find “the one”. Some women fear asking for a raise or raising their prices out of fear of being rejected, when in fact it keeps them from seeing and knowing their worth. This is a tragedy because they have lost their sense of self and instead try to become “cookie cutter” to fit in.
Instead of fitting in, I help women to stand out. I help women to claim their individualized identity, their authenticity, and in turn their power within. I also help single success-minded women ask get what they want in life, love, and in their career or business. Seeing women succeed in life is my passion and purpose.
I’ve worked with some amazing women and I’ve helped them to shape their lives in ways that I never thought imaginable. In my past work as a therapist, I’ve also worked with couples helping them to reconnect in their relationships and marriages.
I have seen my clients grow leaps and bounds creating lives they only once dreamed of living. Now they live those lives and have moved on to bigger and better things.
Women deserve an amazing partner and mad love.
Women deserve to earn what they are worth in at work or in business.
