Michael Sue shares her story to discuss the importance of finding one’s individuality following the suffering of abuse and reminds women that “you are not what happened to you”. Starting with boundaries, she helps women put themselves back in the driver’s seat of their lives, overcoming their past and their pain to find a new path, this time leading them to themselves.
Michael Sue guides women who are survivors of domestic violence, sexual abuse, or rape as they overcome years of emotional pain and discover intimacy. She is a mental health and substance abuse counselor, hypnotherapist, completing a criminal justice doctorate, and worked in domestic violence and sexual abuse for twelve years.
