You can also complete this exercise in looking back on your year. What were the top five (or ten) things that happened this past year? In other words, what were your successes? What do you wish to leave behind in 2014? What lessons did you learn (if any)? What challenges did you overcome? Finally, what is in store for your life in 2015? What are your big plans?
This is a great way to celebrate the end of 2014 and to get ready for a fresh new beginning.
For me, 2014 has been a catalyst for change. 2014 was the beginning of new action, the beginning of something ‘greater’, and I’m sure that 2015 is going to be even better and more exciting. 2014 has been full of accomplishments and learning experiences. I tend to look at everything from the perspective of “What can I learn from this? What is the takeaway?”. This helps me to put things into perspective and reminds me that all hurdles can be overcome, all speed bumps are not fatal or final, but instead a facilitator for change. Ultimately, 2014 has been full of wins that I’d like to share with you.
